Experience
Hello and welcome! I'm Niobe* and I have been practising as a counsellor for more than twenty years in GP surgeries, hospices and cancer-care centres. I have worked with individuals on a wide range of issues relating to health, relationship difficulties, self-worth, difficult past experiences, work problems, anxiety, low mood, and trauma. Part of my work has involved helping children, young people and families where there is serious illness or bereavement, and training health and education professionals on how best to support them. My life experience as a partner, parent, and carer of elderly parents, gives me an insight into the layered complexity of human relationships.
